Modern meets farmhouse in this unique kitchen design. Traditional elements and clean lines blend together the homeowner’s favorite design aspects. Off white cabinets set the tone for the farmhouse feel. The maple brown color of the statement piece and hood are elevated by the use of off white cabinets in kitchen design. Dark color countertops ensures that the kitchen feels warm and inviting.
In order to a maintain a high level of sophistication required for a modern design, the homeowners opted to conceal their appliances. A Sub Zero Refrigerator is concealed with custom wood panels to match the off white cabinets with glaze. The homeowners did not want to focus on white too heavily so they did not choose to go with off white cabinets with white appliances. Modern stainless steel appliances were used.
In the center of the kitchen sits a large island that matches the hood statement piece. A different color marble countertop varies the design which can be intriguing to guests. Off white cabinets with white countertops can be a little dull when it comes to a modern farmhouse design. Recessed lighting throughout the kitchen illuminates the the brightness of the cabinet colors and backsplash tiles. Together all of these design parts give the homeowners the space they need to remodeled space they need to cook; and they give a space to host a variety of entertainment functions.
