This traditional cherry kitchen design combines stylish elements with the homeowner’s Italian roots. Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry in three finishes creates a warm and inviting feel and is complimented by the natural tones in the custom patterned tile flooring. The large center island is set with a tile floor boarder for striking visual appeal. The mantel hood adds an Old World charm, but the central design element is a hand-painted backsplash depicting the village of the homeowner’s childhood!
A large island in the center of the L-shaped kitchen promotes a place of gathering and also serves as an extra meal prep space across from the under mount sink. The unique, rounded island countertop shape balances out the square nature of the wall cabinetry. In the corner of the kitchen there is a functional kitchen desk complete with extra countertop space- a smart move for the messiest of cooks. Glass door wall cabinetry exposes fine dinnerware. Carved Architectural details throughout the wood moulding of the kitchen emphasis the custom ideas and feel to the kitchen. A wood panel covered refrigerated is concealed yet adorned with elaborate wood designs. The homeowners were focused on detail-oriented designs, and the finished kitchen does more than show for that goal.
